About Defenders of Justice

The Defenders of Justice, referred to as Defenders, is a collective of civilian volunteers who have united as a movement to champion the Filipino Code of Conduct, encapsulated by the principles of RoC n RoL (Regime of Christ and Rule of Law). The Defenders’ overarching goal is to advocate for transformative reforms in both society and the government, seeking to bring about positive change and uphold ethical standards.

The Regime of Christ and Rule of Law or RoC n’RoL means to live under the Regime of Christ, specifically the Regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality and peace and abide by the Rule of Law. It is the Defenders’ core philosophy, ideology and way of life.

Victims of Injustice.

The primary objective of Defenders is to advocate for and represent victims of injustice perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals or groups within the National Capital Region. These wrongdoers, often wielding power, wealth, and influence, by virtue of their status in society and position of authority, willfully ignore or manipulate the rule of law and the justice system to further their self-serving interests without facing consequences

Fostering a Just, Peaceful, Inclusive, and Democratic Way of Life is the ultimate goal of DEFENDERS. Our aim is to establish and sustain an inclusive society marked by the principles of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace. In this envisioned society, every individual is not only aware of their rights but also recognizes and respects the rights of others.

The Defenders of Justice movement originated from the formal establishment of the "Truth and Justice Coalition (TJC)" on November 19, 2014, marking the first anniversary of the Supreme Court's Belgica ruling.
